back to work...

I plan on going back to work soon (At night and only a few days a week of course). But I am really excited about it. I miss working and i LOVE my job so I'm stoked! I just don't know how i will do being away from Sophie...I haven't been away from her for more than 30 minutes at a time and we were still in the same house! lol. At least she'll be going to bed (or should be when she learns what time bed-time is) when I am going to work so she won't miss me too much :) and I won't miss anything new she does! That's my worst fear! By the way, she amazes us more and more everyday with the new things she does. Brandon and I swear she's going to be walking by 3 months. haha. She will push herself up and stand up when we are holding onto her arms...trying to talk at the same time. The other night she was jabbering away and we totally heard a "heeeey" come out of her mouth! haha. we couldn't stop laughing and she couldn't stop smiling at us! Too cute! :)

We FINALLY found out where we are going to be moving! At first they told us we were going to Cannon AFB, which is in the middle of NOWHERE in New Mexico...but thank goodness that assignment was a mistake!! For some reason they never received our top ten preference sheet so after they finally did they re-issued us an assignment to CALIFORNIA!! We are stoked! We're going to Vandenberg AFB which is near Santa Maria and only 2 hours away from my FAMILY!!

We really want to buy a house when we get there. I have been looking up the houses online the past couple days and they are pretty affordable. Next month we are going to take a trip down to look at the houses in real life. They are all pretty old homes because it's a beach town but I am completely okay with that....I'd love to do renovations and make it just how we want it. :)

Bowling!

Sooo tonight we are going to go BOWLING!! It's our favorite activity lately....we seem to go at LEAST 2-3 times a week. Until softball season starts and then we'll spend most of our time on the field! Anyways, Sophie is in LOVE with the bowling alley...especially when it's glow n the dark bowl! She'll just sit in her car seat on the table and stare at the black lights and the red dots. It's sooo cute!! It's funny because if she were to be sitting in her car seat or not being held for any amount of time in any other place but the bowling alley she'd be fussy. Works out for all 3 of us! :)

This is Brandon, Amanda, and Sophie's Blog! We are new to this whole blog thing so please bear with us as we figure out how things work. :)
Our little Sophie baby is 6 weeks old now! Holy cow...time flies!!!!! She holds her head up all by herself (for a certain amount of time anyways, until she's tired and then she'll headbutt the floor or whoever is holding her), she smiles a TON, and we even may have heard a little giggle or two in the past week.
